Pinlock® is the anti-fog visor to apply to the inside of the visor on suitable helmets to prevent fogging. The presence of Pinlock® ensures a perfect view even in the most difficult conditions, when the cold and rain tend to encourage the formation of condensation inside the helmet. Installing the Pinlock visor is a quick, simple procedure, but one that should be carried out carefully to position the lens perfectly and get the best anti-fog performance. Here are the steps to follow.
Open the visor and remove it from the helmet. Just slide down the mechanism’s catch and pull the visor lightly outwards.
Make sure that the Pinlock attachment points face the outside of the visor. Carefully clean the inside of the visor with a soft dry cloth. Use a cloth also to rest it on a work surface, in order to avoid scratching it.
Flex the Pinlock lens and slot it between the two attachment points. The side of the lens with seal must be in contact with the visor. After installing, remove the protective film from the Pinlock.
Proceed to reinstall the visor, now equipped with Pinlock, on the helmet.
