I Caschi di Vale is the project that showcases six of the most beautiful graphics used by the Italian rider during his career but never replicated on a standard helmet. This second special limited edition replicates the Dash helmet he wore during the Sepang tests in November 2004. Rossi was fresh from what might have been the best season of his career, when he won on a new motorcycle at his first attempt, leading Yamaha to their first premier class title since 1992.
The Dash graphic was created to celebrate a spectacular season, using a logo that had entered into Italian homes via the TV, just as Valentino had been doing for a few years already. Taken from the famous detergent brand, the slogan “Dash, it doesn't get any whiter” was adapted to read “Rossi, it doesn't get any faster”.
